WSL intelliJ에서 Gradle 빌드가 느려지는 문제

Can't run Spring Boot projects located on WSL : IDEA-309713

I recently bought and installed Intellij but it seems not to go the way along with WSL2. I have tried to open all my Spring Boot projects and create new ones and none of them works on WSL. Intellij just stops or freezes while Reading Maven Projects -ᐳ Re

원인

Window defender가 wsl 파일을 검사 하기 때문에 속도가 지연된다.

 

해결 방법

Window defender 검사 제외 항목에 제외할 프로세스 네임을 넣는다 ex) idea64.exe

위 문서에서는 wsl 경로만 추가하면 된다고 하는데 별 효과가 없었고, 프로세스 이름까지 넣어줘야 빌드 속도가 해결됐다.
